# Your account

> Update your own profile, change your password, and manage the devices you are signed in on.

This page is where you, as a signed-in user — any role, not just administrator —
maintain your own GarmentFlow account. From here you update your profile, change your
password, and review the devices that are currently signed in to your account.

You reach it from the avatar menu in the top-right corner of the app, or from
**My Account** in the sidebar.

This page covers three sections of the account page: **Profile**, **Change password**,
and **Active sessions**. Two further sections on the same page — two-factor
authentication and passkeys — set up stronger sign-in than a password alone; the
administrator perspective on those features is documented in
[user management](/admin/user-management).

## Profile

Your profile carries the name and language preference that the rest of the workspace
sees and reads from.

* `Full name` — the name your colleagues see next to anything you create. Edit it and
  choose "Save profile".
* `Email` — read-only on this page. This is the address you sign in with and the one
  GarmentFlow sends notifications and recovery messages to. If your email address
  changes, ask your administrator to update it from the **Users** page.
* `Role` — read-only on this page. Only an administrator can change a user's role,
  from the **Users** page. See [user management](/admin/user-management).
* `Language` — the language GarmentFlow shows the app in for you. Choose **English**,
  **繁體中文** (Traditional Chinese), or **简体中文** (Simplified Chinese). The
  choice is yours alone — it does not affect what anyone else sees.

## Change your password

Use this section to change your sign-in password.

You enter your **current password** to confirm it is you, then your **new password**
twice. A checklist next to the new-password field shows which of the five password
rules your new password meets; every box must be ticked before the new password is
accepted.

The five rules are:

* At least 12 characters.
* Contains an uppercase letter.
* Contains a lowercase letter.
* Contains a number.
* Contains a special character (anything that is not a letter or a number).

**Changing your password signs you out of every other device you were signed in on.**
The device you are using right now keeps its session, but every other browser or phone
that was signed in to your account is signed out the moment the new password is
saved — so a stolen or borrowed device cannot keep using your old credentials. The
page reminds you of this once the change is saved.

If you have forgotten your current password, your administrator can reset it from
the **Users** page.

## Active sessions

The **Active sessions** card lists every device that is currently signed in to your
account. For each session it shows the device label (the browser and operating
system), the IP address of the device, and the date and time it signed in. The
session you are looking at right now is tagged "Current device" in blue.

Use this list to spot a session you do not recognise — for example, a phone you have
since replaced, or a sign-in from a location you do not recognise. Choose "Revoke"
next to that session, and the device is signed out immediately and forced to sign in
again to use GarmentFlow.

You cannot revoke the current session from this list; closing the browser or
explicitly signing out from the avatar menu ends the current session.

If you spot a session you genuinely cannot account for, revoke it, change your
password, and tell your administrator so the [audit log](/admin/audit-log) can be
reviewed.
